2. The terminal interchange should provide adequate platfofm/bay space for vehicles/unit of carriage movement.
3. The walking distance entailed in changing route or mode should be kept to minimum, possibly by the use of multi-level facilities.
4. The terminal/interchange be located conveniently.
5. The facilities and platform/ bay locations should be clearly and adequately signposted.
6. Adequate comfortable waiting space should be provided.
7. Other facilities eg toilet, restaurants, locker rooms, banking services, clinic etc., should be made available.
